Oh protein smoothies, how I love them! What is there not to love? They are quick to make and satisfies the hunger. Protein smoothies have been my go-to breakfast meal lately. To be honest, lately I’ve been going to bed really really late putting together this blog, and the last thing I want to do in the mornings is wake up extra early to make my other breakfast favorite, protein pancakes. These days I’m lucky if I brush my hair before rushing out the door to go to work. But, I rather have messy hair than skipping breakfast. Besides, isn’t breakfast the most important meal of the day? So, protein smoothies to my rescue!
This recipe is sooo easy to make!
All you need to do is blend some orange juice, water, vanilla whey protein of choice, frozen fruit with some ice cubes and ta-da! it does not get much easier than that.

Notes
Protein smoothies are perfect when you are running short on time, and also as a post-workout meal. The different variations you can create are endless. This smoothie in particular has become my current favorite because it’s not only, yummy, filling, healthy and refreshing, but is packed with anti-oxidants and protein sweetness. This smoothie is a win win in my books. Hope you enjoy this recipe, because I devoured it in 5 minutes!
Cheers to a quick satisfying meal!
