    Recipe Variations

Instead of making this only a 4 ingredient guacamole you can make a more traditional guacamole. Just add chopped tomatoes, finely minced jalapeño, and cilantro

    Storing tips

Guacamole is best served fresh, but you can store in the refrigerator in an air tight container with plastic wrap up to 2-3 days. If the top layer turns brown just remove with a spoon and enjoy.

    Can you freeze guacamole?

You can freeze mashed avocado in a freezer zip top bag up to three months. Make sure you squeeze out all the air from the bag when zipping. Freezing with added ingredients like onion and tomato will make the guacamole watery when thawed out. When you are ready to enjoy just thaw out the night before in the refrigerator or morning of and add additional ingredients when ready to eat.
