    Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

    This Pumpkin Protein Smoothie is so cozy, high in protein, makes the perfect fall drink and it's so easy to make. I love pumpkin and I love finding ways to incorporate it in different foods. One of my favorite and easiest ways to incorporate pumpkin is in protein smoothies and once August hits you better believe it's pumpkin everything around here.

    Why You'll love the this smoothie

    • It's perfect for a quick fall breakfast or post workout drink
    • Makes the perfect fall drink
    • It's healthy, but also pretty tasty.

    Ingredients you'll need

    • Oat milk or milk of choice
    • Pure pumpkin purée for that pumpkin flavor
    • Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain) for protein and extra creaminess
    • Banana frozen would work best but un-frozen works too
    • Pumpkin pie spice for the added pumpkin delicious taste
    • Cinnamon for topping
    • Agave or Maple Syrup for some added sweetness
    • Vanilla whey protein (optional)(for extra added protein)
    • Ice cubes

    How to make Pumpkin Protein Smoothie Recipe

    Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour pumpkin smoothie into two tall glasses and that's it! enjoy!

    Variations

    • Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and chocolate shavings on top for a chocolate pumpkin smoothie
    • For a sweet treat add one scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of greek yogurt
    • Add 1-2 tbsps of peanut butter
    • For a high protein pumpkin smoothie add 1 scoop of vanilla protein
    • Need some caffeine? add 1 shot of expresso to the mix

    Ingredients
      

    • 4 oz Oat milk (or milk of choice)
    • ¼ cup pure pumpkin purée
    • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
    • 1 banana (frozen)
    • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)
    • 1 cup ice cubes
    • 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (optional)
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    • Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Top with cinnamon on top and enjoy!

      This smoothie is absolutely gorgeous, Ana! Im loving how fall festive it is! And OMG, making it with vanilla ice cream?!? I am SO trying that!! On a side note, I'm totally loving the leaves and fall fabulous weather too... aside from all this rain recently! Ick!!!
