Mexican Turkey Chili
This Mexican Turkey Chili is full of delicious flavor and so comforting to eat during the fall and winter days. It's made with ground turkey, black beans, and delicious chili spices.

1 lb ground turkey 1 tablespoon olive oil
⅓ cup white onion, diced 2 garlic cloves, minced ½ teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon chili powder ¾ teaspoon cumin ¼ teaspoon black pepper ½ teaspoon kosher salt (plus more to taste) 1 ½ cups Low sodium chicken broth 15 oz can tomato sauce 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies 15 oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed Optional Toppings White onion, diced Chopped fresh cilantro shredded cheddar cheese or queso fresco Mexican Crema, plain Greek yogurt or sour cream tortilla chips lime wedges
Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark
Heat a medium size pan over medium heat, add olive oil, onion and cook until soften. Add in minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Add ground turkey, oregano, cumin, pepper, chili powder, and salt
Combine all ingredients together and cook until meat is browned
Add broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with chilies and beans and stir until combined
Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
Serve with your favorite toppings
For extra spiciness add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
You can replace the black beans with kidney beans or used both
