Entomatadas with green salsa

Entomatadas Verdes are made with fried corn tortillas filled with tender delicious shredded chicken, crumbled queso fresco and loaded with a tangy green tomatillo salsa

Ingredients you need:

– tomatillos – jalapeno pepper  – garlic  – onion  – oregano – kosher salt – cilantro –  corn tortillas – vegetable oil – shredded chicken –queso fresco

Step 

Start by making the green salsa for the green entomatadas

Step 

Blend all salsa ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth

Step 

Fry the tortillas for a few seconds and set on top of paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 

Submerge the tortillas into the salsa verde and transfer to a plate

Step 

Add the filling, shredded chicken and crumbled queso fresco and fold in half

Step 

Top with chopped cilantro, sliced onion, and crumbled queso fresco.
